Ok so your wanting to make money on the Internet.  1,000's upon 1,000's are. However a good portion are by targeting you and getting you to pay them to learn how to make money.  99% of these companies have 1 goal in mind.  Rip you off and they make the money.  If your looking to get rich quick or quit your job tomorrow because your now going to earn a living off the Internet, forget it. It can be done, but so can winning the lottery.  :)  This will take some time and a lot of work.  Not hard work, just persistence.  The nice thing is on the Internet everyone is equal.  You have as much as a chance as anyone else out there.  The best thing is, you don't need much money.  I have been hosting and designing websites since 1995.  I know the tricks and have helped many businesses succeed on the Internet.  

DISCLAIMER:  What I am going to share on this page and links to other pages, have worked for many of my clients.  I don't 100% endorse some of them but I'm sharing everything I have learned.  Pick and choose I guess.  I will give warnings on some.  Make sure you check my What not do to link.  I am not a author, nor a English teacher.  I am a longtime computer geek / ISP.  Spelling, grammar mistakes?  Deal with it.

Ok let's get started.  1st what do you want to do?  Do you already have a site that needs help?  Do you have a store front that your wanting to expand to the Internet? Are you wanting to sell on eBay? I'll try to answer all of these questions, but gonna be long  :)  

The 1st thing I recommend is getting your own domain name and website.  Not expensive, easy to do, and really the heart of everything.  One benefit is a professional looking email. sales@yourname.com as apposed to gporter324@yahoo.com as an example.  Besides email, if your going to put your business on the web, you have to have your own domain.  Just thinking about eBay?  Your own domain will give you a place to host pictures of items for no additional cost.  Go here for info on getting a domain and hosting it. The 2nd thing I recommend if you have no idea what you want to do, just that you want to make money on the Internet, is think of what you like or know about.  An example.  I did eBay full time for several years, was a Power seller, cleared over 3K a month, tried to work 25 hrs a week but wasn't always successful :)  The thing is I know computers and ISP equipment.  I went to auctions and bought items I knew about and could make money.  I ventured into antiques, which I didn't know anything about.  Hit a home run on buying some piano babies for $20 each and selling them for $200 to $250 each.  I actually lost money on antiques trying to re-do the piano baby thing.  Stick with what you know for long term success.  I should mention not everyone on eBay leaves feedback but I have over 800 and no negatives.  I'll make a ebay page to share eBay tips with you.  click here  EBAY.  

Ok you don't care about eBay, looking to something else.  Do what you know advise still applies.  Make an information website.  Susan's recipes, How to clean you car, it doesn't matter as long as you know the subject inside and out.  Give good accurate advise, get advertising on the site, promote it and make money.  More info on this in links below, however make sure you know what your talking about.  EXAMPLE:  Look over my website.  Click the links, all of this was from knowledge I have acquired thru the years.  No research, no cut and paste, just sharing what I have learned.  Am I making money on this website?  Well hopefully in the future.  Just like your auto mechanics car probably has problems, cause he doesn't want to deal with it after working all day on cars, same with me.  I don't practice what I preach.  Until now, and I have had this domain since 1999.  However I have helped so many people thru the years (for a fee) make money.  Google adsense, Google adwords or just putting their business on the Internet.  I distinctly remember one factory I did a website for and promotion and 4 months later the secretary and a week later the bookkeeper called me bitching about how their time was taken up by phone calls and emails.  Called the owner, he had no problems with it.  Said best advertising he ever did.  Look at my promotion link for how to get your sales up.

  Making money on the Internet isn't hard but takes time.  HOWEVER, a little time and very-very little money will get you going.
